Robot replaces the legs

The current version of this robot is 1.28 m high. Actual shape is a movable chair on both legs by mechanical. A person sitting on a chair can control the movement through two joysticks. This is a great combination of precision engineering and information technology. Information technology will make robot manipulation easier and more convenient.

It is the digital technology that will be the key to the biological control methods that will be fitted to the next generation of robots. The operator can use the mind to control the robot move very flexibly, can not lose a leg often.

The development team said it would take at least another five years, the new robot could be fully adapted for the elderly. At present, the device is responsive, moves relatively slowly and needs to be strengthened to withstand greater load.

The main purpose of developing this robot is to help older people and people with disabilities, so that they can better integrate into the community.
