The footprint of R2 is designed to work both inside and outside the ISS.

Although longer than the average human legs, R2's legs are very flexible with 7 joints.

According to the plan, today, April 14, R2 will have to board the ISS space thanks to SpaceX's Dragon Caspule space shuttle.

Dragon capsules will be launched from the Cape Canaveral air base in Florida, USA.

Previously, the non-footprint R2 version (only the upper body) was posted to the ISS station as a friend and astronaut helper.
