Russia announces confidential documents about the first astronaut

The Russian government has announced 700 pages of confidential documents about the life of Yuri Gagarin, the first person to fly into space, and his historic flight 50 years ago.

Russia will celebrate the event of Gagarin flying into space in the future. Prime Minister Vladimir Putin will meet Russian and Ukrainian astronauts in Ukraine, while President Dmitry Medvedev will visit a center to control space flights on the outskirts of Moscow.

But the information that the Russian public is most concerned about is the government's publication of 700 pages of documents about Yuri Gagarin's life and his flight on April 12, 1961. Among them was a page that recorded the content of the conversation between Gagarin and Sergei Korolev, the leader of the Oriental spacecraft design team, bringing Gagarin into space . The conversation took place when Gagarin got into the spacecraft and waited to take off, the AP reported.

One of Korolev's biggest concerns is that Gagarin will have enough food to eat when he lands on Earth.

' In your pocket there is food for dinner, dinner and breakfast' , lifenews.ru page quoted Korolev to tell Gagarin via radio when the departure time was close.

"Remember ", Gagarin replied.

' I have sausages, candy, jam and tea. There are 63 pieces. You will lose weight. When you come back today, eat everything, 'Korolev continued.

Gagarin joked: ' The most important thing is to have enough sausages to eat under the moonlight '.

It seems that Korolev later remembers recording devices.

' Damn it. These things record all our sayings , 'he said.

The photo of the document page with the content of the talk was published on lifenews.ru. The site added that it seems Gagarin sang and whistled when the control center checked the spacecraft in the last minutes before launching.

Many historians affirm one of the fears of Soviet officials of the time that Gagarin will be unconscious when it falls into a weightless state. But Gagarin was not unconscious.

' The feeling of weightlessness is great. Everything is swimming , 'Gagarin reported to the control center when the Eastern train escaped the gravity of the globe.
