Space agency Roscosmos said Russia on December 11 launched two contact satellites with Proton-M rocket from the Baikonur space center in Kazakhstan.
The Proton-M rocket was launched at 15:17 local time (11:17 GMT) and will put a Russian satellite and an Israeli satellite on Earth's orbit.
According to Roscosmos, Russia's Luch-5A satellite is expected to split at 10:11 (GMT) on December 11 while Israeli Amos-5 satellite will split at 20:52 GMT. day.
Satellite Luch-5A is designed to transmit information on ground checkpoints from Russian low orbit space devices.
Israeli Amos-5 satellite will combine with Amos-2 and Amos-3 satellite groups to provide different satellite services to customers in the Middle East, Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia and Africa.
