As expected, in the period from 2015-2025, Khrunichev National Center for Science-Universe Production will build about 110-130 new missiles. Until this time, Proton-M has made 82 launches, of which 74 times achieved success.

Earlier, Vladimir Popovkin, the former head of the Federal Space Agency, announced that after 2020 Russia no longer uses Proton-M boosters.

It has been suggested that after the end of this decade the introduction of satellites into space will be taken by members of the new missile family Angara.

The work of designing and manufacturing these missiles is currently underway. Angara's first test launch is scheduled to take place in late June.
