Samsung quietly launched two new micro-PCs
South Korean electronics firm has upgraded its UMPC (Ultramobile PC) device line with more powerful processors and larger hard drives. Products are available in European, Asian and American markets.
Samsung did not disclose the specifications of the product, but the information posted on online shopping sites in the US showed that the Q1-Pentium device has integrated 1 GHz Intel Pentium M 723 chip, 60 GB hard drive and 1 memory. GB. The Q1b will work on Via Technologies' C7 1 GHz processor with 40 GB drive and 512 MB RAM.
Meanwhile, the Q1 device was introduced by Samsung at the 2006 CeBit exhibition in March in Germany using the Intel Celeron M 900MHz.

Also last week, Samsung confirmed its 70-inch high-definition liquid crystal television (TV) will go into production early in 2007.
