Scientists create artificial Mars environment for testing

In order to test human adaptability to Mars's environment, scientists created a similar artificial wall in the laboratory.

Recently, scientists have created an environment identical to the natural conditions on the Martian surface such as temperature, humidity, and pressure. Even the illumination angle of the Sun and radiation is simulated like the real thing. Copies of the Martian environment were created in a special vacuum chamber.

This is the product of scientists from the Spanish Space Research Center. It is called Marte , meaning Mars. Researchers created Marte to delve deeper into the planet's neighboring planet. The results may have contributed greatly to the attempt to conquer Mars by the US Aerospace Agency (NASA) and the European Space Agency (ESA).

In fact, this is not the first time scientists have created Mars on Earth. NASA scientists have created similar environments to test the performance of sensors on the Curiosity probe supercar. The $ 2.5 billion device is hunting for traces of life on Red Planet. However, Marte has its own unique features. Its creators wanted to understand the impact of dust on the Martian surface. Dust can adversely affect the sensor, optical glass and Curiosity life.

According to the research team, Marte is also particularly useful in an attempt to find life on Mars. Based on it, people have a basis to confirm whether life has or is existing on the planet. The model will minimize the risks to people in the journey to set foot on this planet.
