See Venus meet Jupiter at dawn

For more than a week since the morning, people can observe how Venus and Jupiter approach each other - an astronomical phenomenon.

According to Stronomy , from the beginning of this month, four planets, Venus, Jupiter, Mars and Mercury, will "converge". During the first ten days of May, Venus and Mercury are a little higher on the eastern horizon, while Jupiter and Mars are closer together in the lower position.

In fact, these planets still move in their own orbits and do not approach each other. They look more "intimate" than the view from the earth during this time. According to Dang Vu Tuan Son, chairman of the young astronomical club, if the weather is favorable, from early morning when looking near the eastern horizon, observers will recognize the convergence of four planets.

However, Mr. Son noted, at the time, Jupiter and Venus are the two brighter planets, so the observers easily see them closer together, and the viewers still see the other two planets. , because they are brighter than other stars in the region.

" Seeing the planets that are close to each other is due to the view from the earth, in fact the planets in the Solar System have independent orbits that cannot be close to each other," Son stressed.

Venus and Jupiter are close to each other, which is a rare phenomenon, usually waiting until August 2014 to see this phenomenon.

"By the 29th of this month, around the same dawn, the observer might have another interesting thing that Jupiter will come quite close to the moon, " Son added.
