Soak a Dead Sea shirt for 2 years and stunned the end

An Israeli artist, Sigalit Landau, came up with a bold idea when he decided to soak a long cloak into the Dead Sea. The robe began to be completely immersed in the Dead Sea water from 2014 to the present, and everyone was stunned to see the results.

This black cloth has turned into a beautiful sparkling white crystal like the legend of the Snow Princess! It is known that the project is named Salt Bride, which includes 8 photos with the idea of ​​being inspired by S. Ansky's Dybbuk in 1916. The play is about a Jewish woman possessed by The soul of the dead lover, and the Landau's salt-encrusted shirt is a replica of the gorgeous robe that appeared in this play.

It is known that during the first three months since putting the cloak into the sea, Landau closely monitored the crystallization process of salt to record the change over time of the shirt. Like that, she took many photos and poured a lot of effort into this project to eventually select 8 photos that captured the complete transformation of this "magic" shirt.
