It is expected that this flight will take place on May 2, if the weather conditions are good.
According to Bertrand Piccard, the father of the Solar Impulse project, landing a large airport is a challenge for Solar Impulse.
The European Commission is one of the main sponsors for this air emission project, so Solar Impulse chose Brussels, the capital of Europe, to make the first stop in the round-the-clock program His Europe.
Soon, Solar Impulse will go to Paris-Le Bourget airport to attend the 49th Aerospace Exhibition from June 20-26.
