Sony introduced the robot music player

Sony Electronics has launched a portable digital music player that can "dance" in tune with the song it is playing.

Rolly - the name of Sony's unique egg-shaped music player - is able to rotate smoothly according to the melody of the song being played from the speakers mounted on either side of the ' egg ' tip. Normally, users will not be able to see the speakers because it is hidden under the ' wings ' and will only show up when the device is started. In addition to the function of creating an antipodular sheet that directs the sound towards the listener, the ' wings ' also have an additional makeover effect for Rolly, making it a ' winged egg '.

Rolly only has a single button - the button switches off / on. The rest of the controls will be executed through two 'wrapped' belts. Control operation is performed by rotating these ' rings '.

Rolly is equipped with Flash memory with storage capacity of up to 1GB and the ability to play back standard music formats in MP3, Atrac and AAC. In addition, Rolly can play music as streaming streams sent via Bluetooth connection.

Sony said that Rolly uses its Sonic Stage software but can fully accept streaming audio from any software or device that supports Bluetooth streaming connectivity.

Rolly's ' jumping ' ability must also be pre-programmed for each song. Users have 6 different options, for example, the open ' wings ', rotating the wheel, rotating the wings . Combining these movements, users can create a multitude of charming " dances ". for Rolly via the Motion Editor software built into the device. The software can record movements and automatically create dance.
