Spectacular killer whales hunting
A killer whale tried to follow the young seal on the sea and drank the blood with a massive body up close to the shore to catch the prey but failed. This breathtaking spectacle is recorded as a slow-motion film.
Orcinus killer whale is considered one of the most ferocious predators in the ocean. The series below shows the mastering skills of this giant mammal. He knew how to plunge himself in the water that was close to the shore to track the young seal and this prey was only lucky to escape deadly.
The killer whale's impressive photographic series was taken by conservationist and photographer Rob Lott at Argentina's cold beach Patagonia. Orcinus is the largest member of the dolphin family. An adult can weigh 10 tons and is about 10 meters long.
The seal used all its strength to swim ashore, while the killer whale was chasing after him like a full-speed submarine in Patagonia.
The young seal is lucky to touch the shore without being snuggled in the mouth of the giant assassin.
But it seems that the whale is still drunk yet to give up.
Unable to land, the killer whale, believed to be about 50 years old, was forced to retreat, leaving the prey to escape.
