From the results of the research project : ' Research on manufacturing technology for biomedical products based on polyamide (PA) and polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA)' (2004-2005), in cooperation with Public Institute Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) and Leuvel School (Belgium), scientists from the Center for Materials Technology (Institute of Applied Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology) have successfully fabricated a set of presses Total skull, for all patients with skull grafts.

Thanks to this mold, each press will be used for 5-6 people (in the past, only one piece for each person), each piece 2 mm thick. Today, the skull is made of polyamide (PA) carbon, with good biological compatibility, lightweight, heat conduction equivalent to bone, unenhanced, easily cut, simple pasteurization. . At this point, the skull will be made of C - PEEK (Polyetheretherketon) - a new biomedical material, with the highest biological characteristics today.

Full skull mold size:

- Length: 215 mm

- Width: 170 mm

- Depth: 0 - 60 mm.

- Shade: Ñ10.
