The sphinx is discovered in a sand dune in America.

The plaster master's head was completely intact and weighed 136kg, discovered by archaeologists at the school filming The Ten Commandments (Ten Commandments of the Lord). This film was made 95 years ago by director Cecil B. DeMille.

The head was discovered in Guadalupe-Nipomo dune, unlike anything ever excavated before, according to Doug Jenzen, CEO of the Dune Center.

"Most of the head is preserved in sand, the original paint is still intact ," Jenzen said.

"This discovery is very important, showing that there are still many surprises about the film production process in history. For example, the device made for these black and white films is painted very bold color."

In 1923, director DeMille ordered the construction of an extravagant studio of simulations, including the statues of the Egyptian emperor, the sphinx and the giant temple door, to make the movie Ten Ten Commandments.

Many other artifacts were also found at the burial site of director Cecil B. DeMille.

After completing the film, DeMille decided to bury the entire studio. He did not want rival filmmakers to use it. Also, moving the studio is too expensive.

In the 1980s, director Peter Brosnan and a group of young filmmakers found the site. More than 30 years later, excavations began, and from there they discovered a series of historical artifacts, including a giant sphinx statue that broke into pieces.

Other relics such as wine bottles, makeup, and cigarette boxes were also discovered, revealing the lives of actors and film crews in 1923.

Recently, when archaeologists were working with a sphinx, they were shocked to find the intact sphinx head hidden under the sand.
