The spectacle of many amazing viewers is actually a fish cleaning the pool in vertical lines . They are migrating upstream under the Pacuare River in Costa Rica.

Wild animal expert Antonio Mogli Picado, who recorded the video, said it was the first time he had witnessed a fish swim like this for 20 years.

'I observe this fish migrating every year,' Picado said. 'I've always watched them for two months before the upstream migration season, but I've never seen them swim like that.'

Researcher Rigoberto Viquez, from Costa Rica National University, explains that this phenomenon is very rare during the migration season.

'This phenomenon often occurs during the breeding season, so this is a rare migration behavior , ' said scientist Viquez.
