Talking makes you smarter
An American research team found that talking with others 10 minutes a day will help you improve your memory and test scores.
"Communication is as effective as the traditional methods of mental training to improve memory and cognitive ability," said lead researcher Oscar Ybarra, a psychologist at the Institute of Social Research, Dai. University of Michigan, said.
In an investigation, they analyzed data on 3,610 people, ages 24 to 96.
The team found that the greater the level of one's social interaction, the better his cognitive function. Social interaction here includes meeting or chatting on the phone with relatives, friends and neighbors.

In another experiment, the researchers performed laboratory tests on 76 college students, ages 18 to 21, to assess whether social interaction and intellectual training were influential. How come memory and knowledge tests.
Students are divided into 3 groups:
1- Social interaction group, have a discussion about a social topic in 10 minutes before taking the exam
2- The intellectual training group, performing 3 tasks before the test (including reading a comprehension exercise, and playing charades)
3- Control group, watch a 10-minute video clip on television
Experts found that students who talked 10 minutes before the exam also performed well as intellectuals. The findings show that having a friend to chat with every day will be helpful in keeping our spirits clear, no less as we play charades.
