Technology transfer of paper making from ... straw, bagasse

On July 17 in Ho Chi Minh City, Supermarket of Technology Technology (Vinatech) and Taise and Ohhara Group (Japan) signed a cooperation to transfer Japanese non-wood pulp production technology worth VND 50 billion. .

With a capacity of 15-30 tons / day, the above line allows the production of pulp from non-timber materials such as branches of acacia hybrid, cajuput branch, eucalyptus branch and even straw or pulp. sugar cane.

Compared with the production of wood pulp, the non-timber method is highly appreciated because it allows to take advantage of the available materials of Vietnam. This material is partly due to availability, partly because of the cultivation of short-term crops.

Since it is not necessary to destroy the forest for raw materials, the technology for producing pulp from non-timber materials is the solution to take advantage of raw materials, helping to limit environmental pollution. That is because: When burning products from plants, or products that grow from absorbing carbonic gases and emitting oxygen, they produce a carbonnic equivalent to the absorbed gas, making the total carbon dioxide gas. in unchanged environment.

In addition, the use of high-grade pulp production line from non-timber materials in small capacity scale still allows scattered installation by locality, depending on material areas. Output products are high quality pulp, supplied to the domestic market and Japan.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Vu Ngoc Bao, General Secretary of Vietnam Paper Association (VPPA), said he hoped that Japanese pulp production technology would be suitable for Vietnam's raw material conditions. Because currently, the investment in developing pulp materials in the country has not met the demand for use. Currently, Vietnam still has to import about 60% of paper pulp by chemical method. The development of the paper industry is currently imbalanced between powder and paper because we have not been able to deploy the production of powder projects for a long time.

Production line of Japanese wood pulp from non-timber materials includes:

1. Two DDR disk crushers, with two sets of making crystals that deliver twice as much productivity on the same machine base, can minimize friction and contact between metal parts occurring in load-loading activities.2. The pulp filter eliminates impurities in the fastest way.
3. Secondary filter (disinfected part treatment) results in 4-5 times better screening efficiency than traditional vibrating screening machine. This device is relatively compact and is certified to minimize pollution of the operating area.
4. High concentration cleaning machine is capable of removing good metal, sand and other impurities in pulp. In addition, it also helps to continuously remove foreign objects even with a balanced amount of water for minimum cleaning. In particular, the end discharge design eliminates even the smallest sand particles at concentrations of 1.0-1.5%
5. The main crusher is designed to help conserve energy, ensure grinding efficiency and save costs in production with the ability to grind low-grade materials without damaging the fiber.
6. The drum filter extends the time to store the dough inside and the powder concentration is stable, making the process of handling the dough unbound so that the concentration of the output dough does not affect the dough.
