Cheap straw collectors

This is the result of research and manufacturing by two students Nguyen Minh and Nguyen Phan Anh Vu, Faculty of Electrical Engineering - Electronics, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Technology.

This product will help farmers collect straw after each harvest is quite easy. At the same time, people can store rice straw for various purposes such as growing mushrooms, making organic fertilizer, producing electricity .

The machine includes parts: system of cutting stubble, straw rake parts, straw pushers into the system of pushing (compressing) straw, preventing straw splashes, compression chambers, propeller block connecting shaft and link flywheel system. Eccentric shaft makes translational movement for the thrust block. In particular, the details of the machine can be easily replaced. Diesel engine. Estimated fuel consumption is about 1.5 - 2 liters of oil / hour. It works well in dry fields after 1-2 weeks of harvest.

Machine with a tonnage of about 350-400kg, cost about 35-40 million VND / unit (the same type of foreign machine currently available on the market costs about 200-300 million VND / unit).

In addition to harvesting straw, the machine can also use garbage collection on the beach (rebuilding the straw structure inside to filter out sand during the garbage collection on the beach). If you remove the cutting unit and do not move, it will become a straw extruder into a cube for growing mushrooms.

The group of students is continuing to study to make the machine more complete such as reducing machine weight, reducing fuel consumption, re-selecting the steering mechanism and machine wheels to suit all types of fields, manufacturing more systems. Automatic straw binding system.
