The proposal of NASA is not on the agenda of the Government this week due to inadequate written comments from relevant agencies.
NASA sent a letter to the Thai government through the US Embassy in Bangkok saying that the atmospheric research project would be canceled if no regulatory approvals were received.
The reason NASA made it is that they did not have enough time to transport equipment to Bangkok to keep up the project.
Mr. Surapong stressed that the cancellation of NASA's project will affect Thailand's image in the international community, especially for Singapore and Cambodia - the two countries that have allowed NASA to conduct an atmospheric research project.
