Ancient architecture is famous and valuable art. At present, Thai Son mountain is home to tens of thousands of old trees over 100 years old, especially Ngan Hanh tree, in the 2000 year old temple which has been dubbed the ' living fossil ' for Thai Son's typical flora.

According to historical records, since Qin Shihuang went to Mount Thai Son until Can Long King's reign, there were 12 Chinese emperors to go to Thai Son to make sacrifices. There are also many people who come here to enjoy the scenery and leave the writings at this natural wonder.

According to geologists, Thai Son mountain began to form about 2.45 billion years ago . The higher the rocks, the more strange the shape is: like the head, the pillar . Many rocks are folded into a blooming lotus shape or animal shape in a very lively posture. Alternating between strange rocks is a large number of giant trees. According to history books, there are more than 10,000 trees here over a century and at least 3300 trees are between 330 and 1,000 years old or more. Pine trees in Thanh Thai Son temple were planted 2100 years ago by Han Wuhan Emperor of the Han Dynasty. The legacies of the six dynasties in Pho Minh temple had 1500 years of history.

Despite being a natural heritage, Thai Son mountain is associated with the spiritual life and many cultural and historical features of China, so Unesco has been classified as a mixed heritage of the world in 1987.
