This year, the Guinness Book of World Records recognizes Samantha Larson as the youngest woman ever to climb to the top of the 7 highest mountains in the continent of the world. This record was achieved when Larson was nearly 19 years old (exactly 18 years and 300 days old).

The first person to overcome thousands of challenges to set foot on the top of the 7 'rooftops' of the world is Richard Bass, on April 30, 1985.
