The boy touched the two continents at the same time
Canadian diver Scott Fitzsimmons - recently experienced one of the most memorable moments of his life while simultaneously touching his hands on continental North America and Asia Europe.
According to Daily Mail, Scott Fitzsimmons (27) has dived at the Silfra trench, in Thingvellir National Park , Iceland.
This is considered the world between two European and North American tectonic plates , and is the only place in the world where humans can touch two continents at the same time.
"The uniqueness of this place makes it special. It is also one of the few places where you don't need photoshop tips and still have beautiful pictures," the Canadian diver said.
Silfra water originates from the nearby Langjökul glacier so it is very clear.According to studies, water in this area is the purest in the world and can be drunk directly without treatment.
The underwater scenery can be seen clearly with the naked eye.The vision of people when diving up to more than 90m.
Each year, the width of the groove opens about 2cm more due to the displacement of the tectonic plates.
Thingvellir National Park has been recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its cultural and historical values as well as its unique geology and nature.
