Since last month 10 healthy men in Tha Sawang commune, Mueang Surin district, Surin province, Thailand suddenly died, Bangkok Post reported. Some people die while sleeping, while others collapse while walking. Doctor said they had died because stop breath.

A grandmother declared 10 dead men due to the spirit of a widow. She said people had to hang red shirts outside their houses to ward off evil spirits, and warned of the risk of ghosts attacking the only boys in the family than those of other men.

Rumors of widows have spread to other districts - like Chom Phra and Tha Tum - in Surin province. Many people in the villages hung red shirts in front of the house to prevent risks.

'I hung a red shirt in front of the door because I was worried about my grandson's safety. Of course, I do not believe the story of the widow's ghost, but be careful not anyway, ' said an 61-year-old man.
