The 'magic' ring controls every device by gesture
We've all heard of smart rings or new announcements on the phone, but the new ring is unique because it allows the user to control everything they think.
Rings allow you to draw envelopes to read or write text, draw notes to play songs, or draw a camera to open a photo application.
The Ring Ring, developed by Logbar Technology (USA), can be operated on any index finger, which can operate all smart appliances, applications and even bill payments with just a few simple steps. The ring is battery powered and is equipped with motion sensors, tactile sensors, Bluetooth, LEDs and vibration cushions.
To boot, the wearer needs to press the open button on the ring to select the notification mode (such as new messages or Facebook updates), through vibration or strobe lights. Rings can connect Bluetooth to smart devices or any other compatible device in the system, including lighting or smart TV. For example, the person wearing the ring can use the finger to indicate the light on / off or switch the channel as desired. When paying bills, the ring will connect to Apple's iBeacon application, which, then, uses a global positioning system (GPS) to determine the store where the user is.
Next, it accurately tracks the number that the ring wears in the air to tell iBeacon the amount to be deducted from the account. Finally, the user only needs to wait for confirmation of paid bills.
According to the manufacturer, Ring works on iOS 7, Android 4.4 and Windows Phone devices, as well as can perform up to 1,000 gestures before needing to replace the battery. Logbar is raising funds to produce Ring on the Kickstarter.com startup site. Expected, the product will be launched in July, but customers can order in advance for $ 145 per unit.
