The 14-year-old boy refused 30 million USD

With the invention of an automatic first aid kit, Taylor Rosenthal becomes the youngest person to be accepted to the tech event TechCrunch Disrupt in Brooklyn.

Taylor Rosenthal is currently a 9th grader, Opelika High School, Alabama State (USA). He felt very excited when his invention was exhibited at a world-class technology event.

According to CNN, despite being young, Taylor created RedMed last year - a big buzzing startup. Not only mobilizing $ 100,000 in venture capital, the 14-year-old boy also rejected the offer to buy ideas for up to $ 30 million.

RedMed and the idea of an automatic first-aid device originated from a project at Young Entrepreneurs Academy - where Taylor was one of 19 members of the class.

Taylor said: "We have to develop a business idea. Every time I see a baseball tournament in Alabama, I realize that children can be injured and parents have no medical kits available. I want to solve that problem. "

Initially, Taylor opened mobile stores in tournaments to sell first aid kits. However, the boy quickly realized, this solution is not feasible because "the cost to pay the seller for 6 hours is too expensive".

From there, the boy came up with the idea of a machine that could replace humans doing this job.

Taylor sketches the design, consulting her parents. Both are health workers. They are radiographers and fitness recovery coaches.

Taylor said, he will pursue business and college pathways that will help him do that.

"I want to go to Notre Dame because the business training environment is very good. I'm also a football fan there" - he shared.
