Seán Molloy, AchillTourism.com travel manager, said the recent stormy weather had washed away the big stones and the storm Brian brought tons of sand back.

"This beach is re-exported after Hurricane Brian. It brought the first sand and cleared the rock , " Sean said. "Folk legend says that this beach appeared every seven years and then disappeared again. In 2005, this beach was present for several months before being swept away."

Sean told him to go down to the beach and that was the first time he went for a walk in this beach even though he had lived here since childhood. The beautiful scenery of the beach is so fascinating and now has become his favorite place.

"I don't know how long this beach will appear, but I advise people nearby to visit this place once before it disappears," he said.

Many people are rushing to this beach to enjoy the scenery before it disappears. The former Achill islander, Malcolm Cooney, also returned to the island to walk on the beach.

"Every time I come here this beach changes, it's always different," he said.

Everyone was happy when the beach came back.

Ashleam Bay is also 9.6 km from another famous beach of Achill Island. This year Doonagh also reappeared after being washed away by a storm 33 years ago.

The 1984 storm swept away the sand and only left rocks and small puddles. Doonagh Beach has no "historical" disappearance as often as Ashleam.

Sean said: "According to the memory of many people, the beach still exists here until the period of 1984-1985. After that, the great storm broke the beach and it was completely washed away. By the time In April of this year, we again received a Easter storm and a strong tide. The wind started blowing from the north, transporting eroded materials from other places. "

Tons of sand are reclaimed in just one week, making many people happy.

"It's great that the beach is back to the people. This is an amazing example of the power of nature and how the beach can change in just a few days."
