The bizarre bacterial world

Statistics of the Institute of Aquatic Life of America published a huge number of bacteria, 10 ^ 30 new species have not yet been named.

Deep down in the ocean is the common home of countless species of bacteria. Most of them cannot see with the naked eye. However, there are also large species of shrimp noodles, which form large-scale microbial mats of Greek at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean.

The total number of bacteria detected is equivalent to 240 billion African elephants (each African elephant weighs 3-5 tons).

They found many species shaped like fiction films. Small creatures can be found everywhere, from craters on the ocean floor at temperatures of 150 degrees Celsius or in rocky slopes at a depth of 1.6 km below the ocean floor.

What's interesting is that they need a lot of names to put, so there are lots of difficult-to-read names like loriciferans , polychaetes , copepods .

Sometimes, fishermen cannot pick up fishing nets because there are more bacteria than shrimp on their nets. Scientists calculate that 1m 2 bacteria have a mass of about 1 kg.

Here are some pictures of exotic bacteria:
