The bright object suspected of being meteorite plunges into the US

Many Americans see one and break through the sky for about three seconds.

An object that emitted strong light and rushed through the American sky on the evening of December 26 attracted the attention of many people in the country, UPI reported.

The meteorite suspect object appeared about 18 o'clock in the sky in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut and Pennsylvania, according to the American Meteorological Association.

The organization received more than 180 notices from witnesses who said they saw a fireball in the sky. Many people are lucky enough to record this moment and post pictures on social networks.

"Such events happen a few times a week in the US. But for each individual, this is often a unique experience. Since the event only lasts about three seconds, you must be at the right place at the right time. Only observed , " said Mike Hankey, who works at the American Meteorological Association.

The new object appears to be roughly the same size from a softball to a basketball, Hankey said.
