The camera uses solar energy
Are you frustrated that your camera is out of battery while traveling without finding a power outlet? Chinese scientists are researching putting a solar battery on a camera strap, allowing users to take advantage of the sun to charge the camera at any time.
This environmentally friendly technology was developed by the inventor of Weng Jie, which is expected to launch in the coming months. Thin and flexible plastic panels will be attached to the camera strap to absorb the sunlight and convert it into electricity. At the ends of the strap, there is a battery that will store the electricity generated. In addition, there will be a cable that connects the camera to the strap for automatic charging when the power goes out. One drawback with using a solar powered battery strap is that it can not be used as a standby battery in case it is not sunny.
