The car runs fast with a speed of 3,200km / h

An American man built a supercar that reached a record speed of more than 3,200 km / h from the engine of a famous X-15 rocket plane.

In a humble garage located on the edge of the Mojave Desert, California, a man named Waldo Stakes is walking between very ordinary objects. Located a short distance away is a car that looks like a giant, rather strange and somewhat localized piece of metal that he designed and built himself. Waldo Stakes calls his car Sonic Wind LSRV.

Although not as sleek as the conventional supercar, but with a speed of up to 2,000mph (3,200km / h) this car of Waldo Stakes is the fastest car on the ground up to the time. present.

You can imagine that, if this car moved at full speed, it would only take 24km for the car to read its name, a terrible number.

Waldo Stakes said, he used parts of experimental rocket aircraft, NASA spacecraft and even nuclear missiles to create this super-speed supercar.

Specifically, this Sonic Wind LSRV supercar uses parts separated from a rocket engine that was used in X-15 aircraft that had a record speed of 4.519mph since 1967. Other parts have the source originated from Corporal, Redstone nuclear missiles and a module on NASA's Apollo spacecraft.

Waldo Stakes said he bought these special components from the 80s of the last century and spent more than 30 years designing this Sonic Wind LSRV. Waldo Stakes hopes the car more than 15 meters long can break the record for the fastest speed on the ground established in 1997.

The fuel used by the Sonic Wind LSRV is a mixture of methane and liquid oxidation, which makes this supercar like a controllable bomb.

Waldo said that, in theory, his car's engine could create a thrust of up to 60,000 pounds above the thrust of the US military X-15 missile plane. The speed of this car can reach 160km per second and the maximum speed can reach from 2,250 to 3,200km / h.

Waldo intends to invite one of the two US Navy F-18 pilot pilots to test their super products.
