On the morning of October 29, the expert team of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, directed by the Director of the Department of Phan Minh Tan, came to the scene of the explosion to find out the cause. The team took samples of soil, water and air in the pit and around the field to take them for testing.

Until now, the Department's experts are still analyzing the collected samples so that they can quickly find out the cause of the explosion.

According to Dr. Phan Minh Tan, initial results show that gas samples collected at the field have higher methane content than normal. This may be the direct cause of the road surface explosion in this area.

In order to ensure safety for the residential area, early in the morning, Binh Thanh District gave police units, military commanders of Ward 13 a blockade of the scene, and at the same time cut off the local power until it found out. reason.

At 15:00 on the same day, the Department returned power to this area. Until now, nothing has happened.

Today, the Department will continue to collect analytical gas samples to find out the exact cause.

As reported, on the afternoon of October 28, on Binh Loi Street, the section before house No. 236, Ward 13, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City, there was an explosion right on the road. The explosion caused the asphalt layer to be thrown up to form a hole about 20cm wide, nearly 40cm deep. After that, many other explosions rang out, then a fierce fire pillar was formed that made many people panic.
