The computer is capable of reading thoughts
UK scientists have created a new type of computer capable of coding memory patterns and can know what people think by brain scans.

Telegraph said that scientists from the University of London, England invited 10 people to participate in a trial. They gave 10 volunteers three movies, each lasting just 7 seconds and depicted women doing a daily street job - like sending letters, drinking coffee.
Volunteers are asked to memorize each film and then recollect it. As they recollected, researchers used magnetic resonance imaging to track the activity of the hippocampal lobe - an area that is important for short-term memory in the brain.
Then a computer algorithm analyzes the types of electrical signals in the brain to predict which films the volunteers are recalling with about 50% accuracy.
'In our previous experiments we focused only on basic memories, such as the position of a person in a certain setting. Studying complex memories is much more interesting, because they can tell us who they are, what they do, and what they think. We were able to identify the types of brain activity that correspond to a certain complex memory. They appear on the hippodrome. Once we have identified the location of short-term memory, we can know how memories are stored and how they change over time , "said Eleanor Maguire, a member of the team.
Based on the results of the analysis of the algorithm, Maguire and his colleagues will create a computer that reads human thoughts and memories.
University of London researchers used a similar technique to track the movement of four people around a computer-generated virtual room. There are 4 locations in the room and each one must be located. Each time a volunteer arrives, an electrical signal appears on the screen of the brain scanner. Because each signal corresponds to a location, experts can locate each person in the virtual room by looking at the signal.
According to the Telegraph, thanks to computer-readable thoughts we can detect liars because the machine can penetrate memory and distinguish different memories. They can even control, manipulate memory.
