Researchers at the University of California (USA) at Berkeley have developed a device that allows them to know what a person is thinking based on neuronal activity in the brain, the activity chart of nerves is to test icon reading a text.

"If you're reading the text in a newspaper or a book, you'll hear a voice in your head," said researcher Brian Pasley of the University of California. "We are trying to decipher the voice-related brain activity to create a medical device that can help paralyzed or dumb people to talk."

The team invited the test participants to read a piece of text, then they recited in mind to have the device scan nerve activities in the brain and achieved quite positive results.

Based on the above tests, researchers hope the future will create a 'thinking decoding' device that allows us to predict what people are thinking of in medical applications.
