Despite being only clay statues, the warriors in the tomb of Qin Shihuang were all equipped with the most modern weapons of the time.
Scientists built arrowheads based on the prototype designed in 200 BC.
They easily penetrated the armor during the Qin Shihuang period, killing the hitman with just one shot, according to The Sunday Times.
Historian Mike Loades, an expert in ancient weapons, commented that these arrows must exceed 2 millennia compared to the era.
The earthen statues dating back to 2,200 years ago were excavated in 1974 in Shaanxi Province.
Up to now, about 8,000 soldiers are found in 3 locations of the tomb of Qin Shihuang.
