The dog waits for 2 years at the hospital

The dog Masha remained faithfully waiting at the hospital, two years after the owner died.

The owner of Masha was an elderly man who lived in Dvurechie village, Siberia, Russia, and was hospitalized two years ago because of severe illness. During that time, Masha was his only guest, but did not forget the duty to protect his home before returning to the hospital every morning. Even when this man died a year ago, Masha still waited at the hospital.

At the regional Novosibirsk Hospital No. 1, doctors and patients all know Masha, often feeding him and preparing for bed at night.

"You can look into its eyes and see how sad it is. This is not the usual bright eyes when a dog feels happy. This is like human expression," said the doctor. Vladimir Bespalov said. According to Bespalov, there are no special drugs that can help Masha, and people can only hope it will soon have a new owner.

Many people believe that Masha is still in the hospital because she has nowhere to go, or maybe because she believes that the owner is still here. A nurse named Alla Vorontsova said the dog was still waiting for its owner. A family used to take Masha back to the farm, but the dog fled and returned to the hospital. It was taken on Friday night, but returned at three o'clock the next morning.

Masha's story refers to the image of Hachiko dog, a close friend of Japanese professor Hidesaburo Ueno. Hachiko still waited at the station every day for 10 years, though Mr. Hidesaburo died at work and permanently did not return home.

Greyfriars Bobby, who was raised in Edinburgh, Scotland, also sat on the master's grave for 14 years.
