The facts are hard to accept about ourselves
Research shows that we all have things that are not very good. In fact, perhaps we are one of the most obnoxious creatures on this planet. And here are the "bitter" facts about ourselves.
1. Always try not to "fart" on the plane
The body is a "fart" machine . Studies have shown that most of us "fart" at least 10 times every 24 hours, giving a total of 1 liter of "smelly" gas every day. But there is a place that guarantees you will break this "smelling" record - it's on the plane.
Studies have shown that most of us "fart" at least 10 times every 24 hours, giving a total of 1 liter of "smelly" gas every day.
If you have to fly, you must be aware of this. When the plane rises, the air pressure will change. That's why plastic water bottles will slightly inflate and then collapse a little when about to land. The same thing happens with your belly. The gas in the abdomen will expand slightly, leading to a feeling of bloating. A feeling that most of us deal with is " sneaking out " and hopefully other passengers will not notice.
Much "deflated" while flying is so bad that airlines now have to use super activated carbon filters to absorb odors in the air conditioner and are considering putting activated charcoal in the passenger seats. Back in the 1960s, it was even suggested that these "farting" would combine to cause the aircraft to accidentally ignite and explode in the sky. Remember next time do not order bean soup before boarding the plane.
2. Always noses
"Fart" on the plane is definitely quite impolite, but that's not your fault. And it wouldn't be fair to tell someone to be hateful because of something they can't control. In that case, turn your attention to a bad habit that we can easily give up but are too lazy to do so. According to science, we are almost certainly good at sniffing the nose.
According to science, we are almost certainly good at sniffing the nose.
This is not something to be proud of. Putting a huge amount of rust out of the nose is the perfect way to spread the pathogen and is absolutely not spectacular. However, most of us are deceiving ourselves if we think we never have such behavior.
In 1995, two American researchers decided to study nose tweezers in Wisconsin. Of the 1,000 adults involved, they found that 91% of their nose swept at least a few times a day. 2% of these people are even people "specializing in nose-twisting" to the point that that habit ruined their lives.
In case you are wondering whether this is true for other places, the answer is that other studies also produce similar results. A study of over 200 teenagers from the school year in Bangalore found that 100% basically had nose tweezers. If you read these lines while putting your fingers in your nose, you should know that you are not an exception.
3. Always "passion" yourself
According to Greek mythology, Narcissus is a well-known handsome guy who has fallen in love with his own reflection, resulting in death and turning into daffodils. At the very least, Narcissus's love is purely a passion for beauty.
While our passion is to do "it" with ourselves.
We tend to be attracted by people who look like themselves.
Scientists have long known that we tend to be attracted to people who look like themselves . There is even a phenomenon in the lesbian community called "twins" , but when a couple with the same appearance starts dressing and styling the hair the same way that people mistook them for a sister younger brother or twin sister.
In 1999, a group of scientists decided how much we were attracted to people like us. They suggested that some men and women quickly assess the attractiveness of the faces shown on the screen. Participants were unaware that one of them was their own face that had been digitally edited to look like the opposite sex. Do you know what happens next?
Nearly all participants rated their own "heterosexual face" as the most attractive face they have ever seen. In other words, the ideal "one night lover" image in most people's eyes will be themselves with long hair or mustache.
4. You probably hate your friends
Most of us don't just have good friends. We have bad friends too.
Friends mean the plus points for our existence, the high score we receive is a reward for tolerance. There is even scientific evidence that friends are great: Studies have shown that having a strong social relationship can be healthier than quitting.
However, most of us don't just have good friends. We have bad friends too. Perhaps everyone has friends who basically want to hate them.
This type of "moderate friendliness" is a phenomenon that is increasingly being noticed by science. In most cases, these are the people who make us stressful - the guys are always bored with every story you tell, the girls always pout at your success. But we are stuck with them because of their loyalty or the fact that they are good friends with our other friends. Although perhaps we want to call them "friends" , these "moderate friends" are gradually killing us.
Spending time with people who are both friends and enemies will increase your blood pressure, increase stress, and even increase your risk of cancer. It sounds strange, but the truth is that you have the right to hate these special "friends" .
