Dr. Tran Phu Manh Sieu, Director of Ho Chi Minh City Preventive Medicine Center today confirmed the test results showed that patients were positive for influenza A / H1N1. The authorities have conducted environmental disinfection at the patient's residence.

This is the first death due to H1N1 in HCMC this year. The patient's family said that he had to travel two days before getting sick in Can Gio forest. There is no sign of disease among family members. The authorities have not identified the source of infection for patients.
