According to RIA Novosti , after leaving the ISS, the Progress M-13M carried the Chibis-M satellite that had not returned to Earth immediately and would be pushed to a higher orbit thanks to the launch of a ship's propulsion.
When reaching the orbit about 500km from Earth, the satellite Chibis-M will be controlled to be separated from the ship at 6 hours 19 minutes on January 25 (VN time) to begin the task of studying thunder in the left atmosphere. land for at least 4 years.
After completing its satellite launch mission, the Progress M-13M will crash into the Pacific Ocean at 927 minutes on January 25 (VN time).
Reportedly, along with the return of the Progress M-13M ship, on (January 24), Roscosmos also moved another transport vessel to the launch pad, the Progress M-14M ship to prepare for the flight to ISS, scheduled for January 26.
