Freshwater minnows, gaurs, elephant or salamander seals are amazingly large animals but not everyone knows.

1. Fresh minnows

The close relative of this fish is small freshwater inhabitants, like anchovies or sardines at sea. But in the Colorado River, North America, minnow fish are superior in size with a length of 1.8m and weigh up to 35kg. With their large size, minnows eat smaller fish, but are also susceptible to changes in their habitat and are becoming animals that need to be preserved.

2. Centipede

The normal centipedes are quite scary because the centipede legs are fast with the venom causing the bitten person to be extremely upset. This giant Peruvian centipede has a length of nearly 30 cm, a set of venom-filled teeth that help them beat the insects and small-sized reptiles like lizards. If you accidentally get bitten by this centipede, humans can be seriously injured.

3. Ocean lobster

Giant lobster lives in Tasmania Island, Australia, is the world's largest invertebrate freshwater creature. A shrimp can weigh up to 3kg and is nearly 1m long. Lobster is looting in the water like crocodiles, the black armor helps them blend into the rock at the bottom of the river, away from the sight of enemies as well as prey. This giant shrimp can bite off human fingers, but fortunately they are quite rare.

4. Indian bulls

Indian wild bulls are 3m tall, the largest gaur in the world. They cross Indian forests and grasslands, sometimes attacking gardens. Among the large herbivores, only elephants, rhinos and giraffes are able to conquer this species in height or weight. Although more gentle than African wild buffalo, but weighing up to 1.6 tons, they are potentially deadly. Due to illegal hunting and environmental destruction, Indian wild bulls are also on the list of being threatened with extinction.

5. Goliath Frog

The Goliath Frog in the West-Central African swamp weighs 3kg and is about the size of a puppy. The menu of this world's largest frog species is not a bug but a young turtle. Goliath frogs are the only one not so heavy, that is the American bullfrog that eats baby birds.

6. Catfish

The Mekong catfish, a giant but harmless fish of the Mekong Basin, named in the Vietnam Red Book, is recognized as the largest catfish in the world. Property size is almost the same as this species, while carnivorous catfish in Eastern Europe, up to 3 meters long and once deadly, and South American catfish eat meat. Giant catfish species are threatened by overfishing by humans.

7. Iguana

The giant salamand in Japan is called "water monster" by the people of this country, but the new Chinese giant salamander is the largest amphibian that exists with a length of nearly 2m. The salamander has tiny eyes, but in return, their sense of smell is extremely sensitive. Male giant salamanders are "family men", they aggressively protect eggs until eggs hatch. Illegal hunting and destroyed habitat are also a threat to this rare animal.

8. Dandelion queen

Compared to the common pigeons, the world's largest pigeon can be considered a unique wonder. Living in the New Guinea archipelago, the bird is three times larger than regular pigeons, and has beautiful blue feathers and hair on its head like peacock feathers. Therefore, they were named Victorian crown doves, after the Queen of England. Due to their poorer flying ability than regular pigeons, they live mainly on stems and fly away.

9. Elephant seal

The world's largest predator is the southern elephant seal. An elephant seal can reach a weight of 5 tons, with a length of up to 6m. Elephant seals are only used to eat marine animals, and humans are not included in the menu of this giant animal. The seal also has a large nozzle similar to an elephant, which can emit deafening roars.

10. Nomadic seagulls

The largest seabird on the planet is the albatross. Of the 21 species of seagulls around the world, the largest is nomadic seagulls, with wingspan of 3.5 meters and weighing up to 13kg. The king of the sea bird took advantage of a large body mass to create momentum to propel the wings, allowing them to fly very far and could reach a record of flying 6,000km within 12 days. This is a nocturnal bird, the main food is squid and fish swim close to the water. No other bird in the world has wingspan longer than nomadic seagulls.
