The man paints with his legs and mouth
A handless man in China shocked many people when drawing beautiful pictures with his mouth and legs.
Artist Huang Guofu is painting with his legs.
Mr. Huang Guofu, 41, lost both arms in an electric shock accident when he was 4 years old. But apparently this accident did not affect his passion for painting.
Born in Chongqing, China, Mr. Huang taught himself to paint by foot since he was 12 years old. He started his dream by redrawing pictures in textbooks. Little Huang then had many nights to practice drawing.
When the father fell ill, Huang dropped out of school at 18 to follow his drawing career to earn money for his father's medical treatment. Huang became a street artist, traveling around here to paint and sell to passers-by.
But after receiving criticisms that his paintings lacked the sophistication of painting with his feet, Huang learned to paint by mouth. After tireless efforts, the slender artist used both his legs and mouth to produce beautiful paintings.
In 1999, Huang found true love in Sichuan Province, where he met and fell in love with Ms. Hu Guohui. They married in 2000 and Hu became a strong supporter of her husband's artistic career.
Efforts and perseverance have brought success to the disabled artist. Huang was appointed deputy director of a newly opened museum in Chongqing. And now collectors and art lovers around the world have bought Huang's paintings.
