The meteorite stabbed Earth, China suffered the most damage?

China, Indonesia, the Philippines, the US, . are the countries that will suffer the most if the Earth collides with a meteorite in the universe, according to research by scientists at the University of Southampton (UK).

For the first time, scientists have analyzed and ranked countries that suffer human and material losses, in case the Earth collides with a meteorite in the universe. Accordingly, China is the country that suffered the most damage if the meteorite hit Earth because it has the largest population in the world.

The list of countries most impacted by meteorite collisions was created by Southampton University scientists based on NEOimpactor software, with data compiled from the Near Object Research program. Earth (NEO) of the US Space Agency.

The list of 10 countries most severely affected in descending order includes: China, Indonesia, India, Japan, the United States, the Philippines, Italy, Britain, Brazil and Nigeria.

In terms of human damage, the US, China Indonesia, India and Japan are the most at risk. Meanwhile, countries that are at great risk of infrastructure damage when Earth collides with meteors are Canada, the United States, China, Japan and Sweden.

The Daily Mail quoted Dr. Nick Bailey, head of software development team NEOimpactor, saying: 'The risk of Earth colliding with an asteroid is increasing. When meteorites crash into Earth, it will cause tremendous damage to people and property. Our software helps determine which country is most affected by this disaster . '

According to DailyGalaxy , all plants and animals on Earth will be destroyed if an asteroid with a diameter of more than 20km hits our planet. 65 million years ago, dinosaurs are thought to be extinct after a meteorite has a diameter of 16 km into the Earth.
