The mini-spy plane simulates the dragonflies

In the next few years, future soldiers will be armed with a 6cm unmanned aerial unmanned aerial vehicle called ' Dragonfly ' to fight in urban areas.

This initiative was initiated by French researcher Pierre-François Louvigné in 2003 and is characterized by an insect mediated by the Silmach Company.

The unmanned aerial vehicle has yet to fly but has just won the ' Science and Defense ' award on December 14th. It differs from the 2005 award in the highest scientific contributions and is of interest to the Defense Ministry.

The researchers explain that the Flycatcher will never fly by the propulsion system like an aircraft, but they will find a solution by looking at insect flight.

" The goal is to develop insect-based nano-systems ," explains Louvigné.

The French Defense Agency (DGA) hopes in the 2020s, future infantrymen nicknamed ' Felin ' will be armed with a ' dragonfly ' group in their pockets. He will be able to deploy troops everywhere and these mini-reconnaissance aircraft will silently enter the enemy's area, film and send valuable information.
