The moon has water: Undeniable evidence
According to the latest statements from American scientists, it has been found evidence of the existence of a small amount of volcanic lava water brought back from the moon by the Apollo spacecraft.
Recently NASA launched two probes crashing into the moon, while the moon orbiting probe is also scanning the lunar surface to search for light signals. All of these efforts by NASA are aimed at proving that the moon is not completely a dry planet.
And what makes people unexpected is the most authentic evidence of the existence of water on the moon in front of our eyes. Scientists have discovered evidence of water in lava and volcanic glass brought back from the moon by the Apollo spacecraft. However, the most water content is only about a few thousand. This also explains why scientists in the 60-70s of the last century, after analyzing specimens from the moon, concluded that the moon was completely dry.
Gary Lofgren, a moon specimen manager at NASA's Johnaon space center, said: "After 10 years, the sensitivity of advanced scientific machines can detect the existence of extreme water content. small like that. 'Although he did not participate in these latest studies, Gary said, this is a 'reliable result' , so more research should be done.
In fact, in lunar lava specimens there are signs of the country that were published in a research paper published in 'Natural' in 2008. At that time, scientists has announced the discovery of water molecules in the volcanic glass specimen that Apollo brought from the moon.

However, whether the water molecule that exists in the moon's volcanic glass is about to reach the earth is good, this work has not been proven. James Grrenwood, a professor at Wesleyan University, Connecticut, said one of the methods to determine the production of water molecules is to measure the amount of different isotopes of hydrogen in the template. The team of scientists of the work published in 'Natural' has not yet grasped this technique.
The effect of isotope measurements is the same as human fingerprints. For example, the ratio of isotopes of water in the ground is not the same as that of comets. When the work found water molecules in volcanic glass posted on 'Natural', Greenwood is developing a technique that can study the chemical composition of Martian remains. Later, Greenwood introduced this method to the lava specimens taken from the moon to determine the 'fingerprints' of water molecules that exist in lunar lava.
During the 41st Planetary and Planetary Science Conference held in Texas, Greenwood announced its study. Greenwood said, this study may prove that the water found in lava from the moon 'is not entirely of the earth'.
At the same conference, another research group announced the discovery of evidence of water in moon lava with apatite. These lava are taken from the lack of light in the moon. Scientists believe that these areas were formed on an ancient lava lava layer of the moon.
Francis McCubbin, an Earth scientist at the Carnegie Department of Scientific Research, one of the scientists involved in the study, said the latest finding is, 'initially one of the attempts to find water lunar lava minerals', will then go one step further to prove in the lava moon a very small amount of water.
However, Francis McCubbin also said, although the findings on the existence of water on the moon are getting more and more, they are just like sea salt: 'Although water exists on the moon more than we do. ever imagined. However, compared to the earth and Mars, it is just like salt. Therefore, he completely agreed with the results of the study of moon patterns in the past 40 years'.
Scientists also plan to study the origin of water on the moon. Popular judgments focused on the early period of the moon's formation, ie after Mars' bodies collided with the earth and created the moon shortly.
Greenwood said, there is a possibility, when comets crashed into the moon when it was in the process of securing and saving water. McCubbin points out another possibility, suggesting that the water on the moon is carried by 'handy' rock masses when separated from the earth to form the moon. In other words, water on the moon can be traced back to the ancient earth itself.
