The phone looks through all the materials

Researchers at the UT Dallas Institute of Technology have recently turned their handsets into devices that allow users to see through materials such as walls, wood, plastic, paper.

Technology is a combination of CMOS chip and Terahertz wave, the wave is between infrared and microwave waves. Just put the chip and receiver on the back of the phone, this device can see through all.

Thanks to the ability to see through all materials.

The technology is used to search for hidden objects in the wall, detect counterfeit money, control production, even detect tumors, diagnose breathlessness or check for toxicity in the air.

"We have created a new approach to wave mining that has not yet been used in consumer devices or medical devices," said Dr. Kenneth O, author of the study. 'Terahertz has the potential to bring many benefits to all of us , ' he said.

Images generated by signals operating within the Terahertz range (THz) do not use the built-in lenses, thus reducing the cost and size of the product.
