This nuclear submarine has the SSN number 719 . The unique aspect of XFC deployment is that submarines do not need to be upgraded.
The XFC drone studied over the last six years by the NRL, using electric motors and solar cells to keep them running for six hours. "The XFC will perform intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions," Gizmag magazine quoted experts at the NRL. The price of XFC is quite low.
Tests revealed that the XFC was placed in the Sea Robin engine, which is similar in structure to the Tomahawk missile. When the submarine launches, the XFC will start up the power system to raise the height and then send the data collected to the submarine.
Gizmag magazine said that unmanned aerial vehicles were being tested on the Andros Island in the Bahamas.
