The river turns blue and strange

On December 29, 2010, an amazing scene occurred in the very peaceful Goldstream Park in Victoria, Vancouver. The water on this river suddenly turned green like a neon.

Anyone passing by must look carefully to make sure that the scene they are witnessing is real.

Blue light makes the river extremely strange. After about an hour, the fluorescence gradually disappeared, leaving a series of questions about this strange phenomenon so far no one has answered.

After analyzing the blue-light water sample, the local Ministry of Environment said the blue river water is the result of a chemical called ' Flourescein '. Experts believe that the substance or its decomposition products are not toxic, so the fish and habitats here are not affected.

Authorities have not yet identified the exact cause but many believe that pouring Flourescein into the Goldstream River is just a joke of someone during the last winter break.
