To Lich River suddenly turns green after receiving water from West Lake

From July 9 morning, Hanoi Sewerage and Drainage Company opened the door to discharge more than 1 million cubic meters of water from West Lake to To Lich River.The opening of the water outlet is due to the higher water level of the West Lake, the discharge time is expected to last 2 days.

With more than 1 million cubic meters of water received from West Lake, the water on To Lich River is created with continuous flow within two days, reducing pollution in the coming time. 'For years, under the pressure of urbanization and the lack of awareness of people living along the river, the To Lich River has been seriously polluted. Recently, I saw that the government also made great efforts to revive this dead river , 'said Nam (71 years old, Nguyen Dinh Hoan street, Cau Giay).

According to Mr. Nam, on the afternoon of July 9, seeing the water level of To Lich River rising and the stench was completely gone, people also felt excited.

It is known that before the flood season, Hanoi Sewerage and Drainage Company always discharges West Lake water, drops lower than normal to be ready to receive rain.In case of sudden downpour, it will be very dangerous.

With the discharge of water from West Lake, To Lich River will create a large flow in 2 days, clear water and cleaner.

The location is being piloted to treat pollution by Japanese Nano - Bioreactor technology in Nguyen Dinh Hoan street area, the aerators still operate day and night.

The blue water is different from the usual black.
