According to CCTV News, these photos were taken by an @docious account person on Reddit through an airplane window during the journey from Amsterdam, the Netherlands to Marrakech, Morocco over two years ago.

The river called Odeleite Reservoir , located in southeastern Portugal, is also known as " Thanh Long Ha" (blue dragon river).

Recently, a user of China's social network Weibo re-posted the image with his account, attracting more than 30,000 shares in less than 10 hours. Dragon has long been considered a symbolic mascot for Chinese culture. Therefore, this dragon-shaped river made the netizens of this country extremely excited.
