The safest white car
The color of the vehicle you are on may have a tremendous impact on the likelihood of an accident on the road. White is the safest, followed by cream, yellow and beige colors. Meanwhile colors like gray, green, red, black and blue are high-risk colors.
The report, funded by the Australian Association of Car Organizations, assessed the association between car colors and the risk of accidents through analysis of crashes that took place between 1987 and 2004.
The executive director of the association Edmund King said: "This study shows that large trucks are usually white, because white vehicles have the lowest risk of accidents in all colors. ".
"In contrast, darker and less contrasting colors such as gray, green, red, black and blue often face higher risks, especially during the daytime. like reducing the effect of paint color ".
A 2003 study by New Zealand scientists also revealed the safest silver cars.
