Perhaps no way of sneezing is less secure this way .

There are 3 commonly used ways of sneezing: covering your mouth with your hand, covering your mouth with your elbow and covering your mouth with a handkerchief / paper towel. And usually, using a tissue / handkerchief to cover the mouth is considered the safest. However, in an experiment in the United States, participants will wear all white, drink colored solutions and use sneezing agents, standing on a plane with distance, the exact opposite result. :

The first test is to use your hand to cover your mouth when sneezing . The results after 3 times sneezing close to each other showed that the droplets emitted from the nose (test subjects drank stained water) reaching as far as 2.5m with a lot of small droplets. The image of the slow-motion camera shows clearly, the hand cannot stop the air and fluid from shooting out, heading upwards and radiating around. Of course the hand is full of body fluids.

The second test is to use the elbow to cover your mouth when sneezing . Slow motion camera images show no airflow or fluid escaping from the elbow. Only 2-3 drops of fluid fell. Droplets are concentrated in the elbows and are completely absent at hand.

Using your elbow to cover your nose when sneezing is safest for yourself and everyone around you .

The third test is using a cloth to cover your mouth when sneezing. Although the scarf was folded, tiny droplets still shot to the ground. Nasal water soaked through the towel sticking to the hand of the sneeze. Imagine you put this towel in your pocket and then take the change, take the phone, the pen . and the hand clings to the door knob, stair railing . how fast will the virus spread?

Obviously, in the above three ways, using your elbows to cover your mouth when sneezing is always safe for yourself and those around you, minimizing the spread of viruses during the transition or epidemic periods.
